Affordable makeup look step by step

  Affordable makeup look

We all want skin and makeup that looks like beauty gores on Youtube. I'm going to tell you step by step how to achieve this look. This look will be an affordable makeup look, and you will have well blended shadows, nice soft skin, nice soft contour, and blinding highlight. It will seem like if you took about two hours, but in reality it took you about forty minutes.

SKIN CARE

To have nice and seamless skin makeup look, you need a good base, which is your skin. Your skin is the most important. I'm going to be telling you will need or at least something similar to this. I get this from the drug store or ulta, but it is non-expensive. We all have different skin types so this is what works for me. I exfiolate two- three times a week: exfoliating is taking off any dead skin scales and it basically removes any dirt or nasty stuff you have on your skin. I use the St Aves abroicot scrub. Then I use a face wash with a Cetaphil daily cleanser this you can use everyday, day and night. It is for all skin types doesn’t matter if you're dry, oily or combo. The wet and wild rose toner. Only use toner maybe about three times a week because it will dry your face out. This toner is to remove any excess dirt or stubborn oil from your makeup. I will then use a serum and apply it all over my face.

Prepping for makeup

These next couple steps is when I start to prep for my makeup routine. I use a Cetaphil mostiurzer and apply it all over my face. Then I use and honey dew me up primer by NYX. I use that to have a nice and tacky base. A pore filling primer will be your bestfriend, I enjoy using the puddy primer by elf. This will have you look more facetuned and hide all the little black spots around your T-Zone. It will make your face look more clear.

Eyebrows

The first thing I start doing is my eyebrows. If youre starting off I suggest starting with a brow pencil theyre more flexable. The maybeline pencil that best matches your eyebrow hair. You are first going to start off by drawing a line under your eyebrow following the natural shape of your brow. Now with the top brow I like brow my hairs down just so I can get an idea of where my natural shape is. Then to fill in use a soft hand and you brush strokes while doing it so you can have more of a natural shape brow DO NOT fill in the front of your brows just get your spooly and brush them out. Grab your concelar. I use the Milani one. Get a flat brush and start to carve out the bottom of your brows. Then get your foundation apply a little to the back of your hand and get that same brush and carve out the the top of your brows the top part is when you want to take your time.

Eyeshadow

I prime my eyelids with the concelar and set them with transulent powder I use the one by wet and wild in the shade banana. For a more natural look I like to use a soft brown and get a fluffy brush and use wind shield wiper motions. Then I will get a more darker brown and use the same technique and apply it to the crease.

Lashes

Applying lashes can get difficult. I first will start off by measuring them to the shape of your eye cut as needed. Then apply a decent amount of glue not too much (make sure it is a eyelash glue). While the glue is drying apply mascara then wait amount 30 more seconds and apply your lash and adjust.

How to match your foundation

The first thing you are going to want to do is find our your undertone. If its green, blue, pink, red, gray. I would go to a sephora there they will color match you with your best undertone. They have a machine that will tell you.

How to apply foundation and concealer

When applying get a beauty sponge and make sure it is damp so yes you are going to have to wet it. Then apply as much foundation as you desire I usually do about 2-3 pumps. I start off in sections I tend to start on my cheeks and work from there. With the beauty sponge you're going to want to dab it in not rub it in because that will cause for you have to lines on your face. Remember to bring foundation onto the neck because you don’t want to look like two different skin colors. Blend blend blend till you cant no more. Then get your concealer which should be two shades lighter than your foundation to highlight the face. I highlight under my eyes, on the bridge on my nose, chin, cupids bow. Blend that in really well.

Set your makeup in place

Then quickly grab your translucent powder and set it into place with a sponge. Pat the powder in make sure you're really putting it into the skin. Then to lock everything into place I will set my entire face with the powder and I just blend it in. Then I will get a huge fluffy brush and take off any excess powder then I grab a setting spray and spray my face 4-5 times this is just so your powder can melt into the skin making it look more natural.

Contour, blush, and highlight

Now it is time for countour I usually just bronze my face. I will get a medium size brush and blend on my cheeks start from where the top of my ear is till about mid way of the cheek. Make sure to really blend it in and not make it too dark because then it will look muddy. Blush Is my favorite part I get a coral color and apply that the apples of my cheeks. Apply with an angled fluffy brush. We get forget the highlight. I use a more eyeshadow brush to apply this and I apply it where I want to be highlighted I like mine to look a tad bit more natural.

Finishing touches

Don’t forgot to set your face one last time to make sure your makeup doesn’t move around all day. Once you set your face, line your lips with a nude lip liner of your choice i like the one from L.A. Girl in the shade perfect nude then apply some gloss and you're ready to go.

Dont forget the essentials

I hope you have found this useful. It may seem like a lot but you would want to look the best of the best. Beauty is pain so this is the stuff we have to go through. Once you get the hang of it it will seem like you can do it in 15 mintues. Always carry in your purse gloss, your beauty sponge, eyelash glue, and some setting spray!
